Description
In the world of Tokyo Ghoul, humans live alongside Ghouls, creatures that can only survive by consuming human flesh. Ken Kaneki is a young man caught between both worlds, a human-ghoul hybrid created after a life-saving operation gave him the organs of a ghoul. Still struggling to accept his new nature and his need to feed on human flesh, Kaneki has found a fragile sense of belonging at the quiet coffee shop Anteiku in Tokyo’s Ward 20. Run by the gentle Yoshimura, Anteiku serves as a refuge for peaceful ghouls who try to coexist with humans, and Kaneki works there alongside the fierce and troubled Touka Kirishima, who trains him to control his new powers.

Their relatively peaceful existence is shattered by the arrival of a charismatic and sophisticated ghoul named Shu Tsukiyama. Known in ghoul circles as "The Gourmet," Tsukiyama is a wealthy epicurean who has grown bored with ordinary human cuisine and now seeks only the rarest and most exquisite flavors. The moment he catches the unique scent of Kaneki, a half-human, half-ghoul hybrid, he becomes obsessively fixated on making him his next meal. Tsukiyama insinuates himself into Kaneki’s life, pretending to be a friend while secretly plotting to savor his unprecedented flavor.

The conflict escalates when Tsukiyama lures Kaneki to an underground ghoul restaurant, a secretive and decadent venue where ghouls from around the world gather to watch humans being prepared and served as gourmet dishes. Kaneki is captured and presented as the main course, forced to fight for his survival against Tsukiyama and other predatory ghouls. The situation grows even more desperate when Tsukiyama kidnaps Kimi Nishino, the human girlfriend of Kaneki’s former rival, Nishiki Nishio, using her as a pawn to manipulate Kaneki.

As the lines between friend and enemy blur, the ghouls of Anteiku must unite to rescue one of their own. Touka and Nishiki launch a desperate counterattack against Tsukiyama to free Kaneki and Kimi. The Commission of Counter Ghoul (CCG), a government agency dedicated to eradicating ghouls, also launches a raid on the restaurant, turning the location into a chaotic three-way battlefield. Kaneki is forced to confront the full extent of his monstrous abilities to survive Tsukiyama’s obsession and escape the clutches of both the CCG and the ghoul gourmet.
