Live-Action TV
Description
In an alternate world that is in its own 'Golden Age of Pirates', various pirate crews rule the seas and compete against one another to lay claim for the elusive One Piece treasure. A treasure that was left hidden on an island in the Grand Line by the late Pirate King Gold Roger. The pirate who lays claim on the supposed treasure will be recognized as the new Pirate King. Over twenty years later, a teenage boy named Monkey D. Luffy has a lifelong ambition to form his own pirate crew and become the new Pirate King himself. With his unusual ability to stretch like rubber that was gained from eating a Devil’s Fruit, he has the strength and agility to overcome any obstacles and dangers that await him whether it be dealing with other pirate crews or the marines. Upon recruiting members for his crew, he will only recruit individuals that respect his dreams and they in return have dreams that Luffy finds to be of good value.
